STORY
Regarding the risks and side-effects of aging, don’t turn to a doctor – go straight to a pharmacist.
Gay men need to continuously provide evidence of their sexual performance as part of a universe of apparently everlasting youth - a stereotype that contains more than just a grain of truth.
Joseph is 69 now and can tell you a thing or two about this. Following the death of his partner years ago, he is looking for relief and affirmation in the gay scene. But his body can’t cope with the pressure resulting from his own expectations. Many a trip ends in frustration. Even his best friend Gerda ist not really what you could call a lifesaver, as detached as she is. Finally, he makes it to the drugstore on his second try. Suddenly Joseph’s world shrinks before his eyes into a microcosm of competing lifestyles. Meeting the attractive pharmacist Mark changes his point of view - with amazing effects on body parts that refused to cooperate before.
